Living my life as Chuojashni Subramaniam, my life goal right now is to be a writer. That's the standard I have set for myself. I want to be known as a writer. Of course, it doesn't just end there. With god's blessing (being nice and down to earth right now) I hope one day I will complete my Ph.D. and the world will recognise me as Dr. Chuojashni Subramaniam.
In the meantime, while I'm trying to achieve my life goals, of course, people will judge me. I judge people too. Actually, to be honest, these days, I'm meeting a lot of "unique" people that I forgot how to judge people.
So, create a standard for yourself as well! What you want to be? Where do you see yourself in 10 years time from now? Whatever is it that you want to be, make sure you're not affected by those words people are throwing at you. Normal people will judge you! *They are not as amazing as me (Don't kill me) If they don't judge you, it means you're not living your life right.
Every success of yours will make somebody in the wormhole to be jealous. Keep progressing and never let your standards down! It's never too late to start as well. YOU must be the reason behind YOUR very own success! Well, at least I know that I am the reason behind every progress of mine, though. :)

DeleteYou are right that we must not allow anyone's opinion to affect our decisions and actions. All the best to you and may you be a well known writer with a PhD.
