Welcome to the cheapskate world! Where you can get any type of Bento for RM15.00. Let me repeat IT IS JUST RM15.00! Yes, at a place like ISETAN where you gotta purchase even a broom for RM390.00, it is pretty surprising that you can get a set of food for RM15.00. I'm not kidding. I guess the broom is made from gold and it glows at night so when people want to sweep in dark can use it without any difficulties. -_- #Sarcasm

Miso Soup |
To be honest, they deliberately made the price of the Bento very affordable so the idea that ISETAN sells the common item for a crazy price will decrease. What is Bento? Bento is Japanese cuisine served in a box-shaped container with a number of items like rice, fish or meat with pickled and cooked vegetables. It is a frosted food which they will defrost for you and you can eat it anytime on that day. It comes with a soup called Miso soup as well.

Teriyaki Bento
Teriyaki Chicken/ Potato Salad/ Baked Brocolli/ Eggplant Marinade/ Edo Tamago Yaki/ Putit Tomato/ Goya Chample/ Fried Noodle/ Takuan/ Steamed Rice |
Since I am a Malaysian, Bento did pull my interest once I saw it in a container with varieties of stuff though I am not familiar with Japanese cuisine. Once I heard that it is a frosted food my entire mood was off and I became skeptical on how the taste of Bento is going to be.

Katsu Bento
Chicken Katsu/ Takiawase/ Curry Pasta/ Baked Vege/ Takuan/ Edo Tamago Yaki/ Basil Potato/ Shrimp Nanban/ Hijiki Rice |
Personally speaking, 7 Eleven is where I get my food from when I can't get other food sources as that is the nearest place for me. So I am familiar with frosted food and I DON'T LIKE IT!

Saba-Miso Bento
Saba-Miso/ Takiawase/ Pickles/ Fried Noodle/ Shrimp Nanban Dsyke/ Edo Tamago Yaki/ Sweet Potato/ Takuan/ Kayaku Rice |
Much to my surprise, Bento tasted really good and it was nothing like what I had imagined. Thanks to the innovative technology of Proton freezing which prevents cytoclasis of food ingredients and an increase of the drip flowing out therefrom results in improving reproducibility of food once known impossible to freeze/ defrost such as Sushi as fresh as right out from the kitchen.

Karaage Bento Chicken Karaage/ Potato Salada/ Baked Broccoli/ Beansprout Itame/ Basil Potato/ Boiled Shrimp/ Putit Tomato/ Takuan/ Turmeric Rice |
Every single taste of the food has remained exactly how it will be when it is fresh. The carrot and sweet potato were really sweet that I craved for more after eating it. The fish and meat was seasoned well and the meat was really tender. The color is what caught my eye before I even try the food. It was very vibrant and made the food looked extra tempting. I made a mistake which you shouldn't do if you're going to try their food.
DON'T SPEND LOTS OF TIME TAKING THE FOOD PICTURE! The place was already chilled up and when I took my own sweet time to take the picture of it, it was already cold when I tried it. Thankfully my hot soup helped me. Hehehe.
So where is Waza Cafe? It is in ISETAN The Japan Store Kuala Lumpur, Lot 10, No. 50 Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The nearest public transport will be the monorail from KL Sentral which stops at Bukit Bintang station. You also can take the bus from Pasar Seni.
Where Waza Cafe is situated in ISETAN? Get yourself to ISETAN then straight away look for customer service and they will guide you well. Well, when the service is for free then we must use it wisely, right? LOL! Just kidding! It is at the LGF right opposite the Tech Food.
