Understanding the face-paced lifestyle that is constantly subjected to tremendous stress, Puras became a solution. Puras was founded out of the need for natural and high-quality essential oils for them and their families.
Therefore they have taken meticulous care to ensure the authenticity, integrity and quality of their plant-derived products. They also import their essential oils and raw materials from various parts of the world.
Puras is also one of the world's pioneers in adopting a non-toxic and non- carcinogenic approach in formulating natural healing products. They do not use any plants that are genetically-modified.
Here I will be talking about Puras's Skincare which consists of Dragon's Blood Face Wash, Dragon Blood's Antioxidant and Anti-aging Moisturiser, Dragon Blood's Intense Moisturising Antioxidant Cream, and Dragon Blood's Intense Antioxidants Sleeping Mask.
I actually attended Puras workshop where I got a lot of knowledge on what Dragon's Blood is and also a lot of other info on how to use the essential oil properly. We also tried the skincare there and I was able to see a very clear before and after/ Like you can see the image here where my left-hand looks so smooth and my right-hand looks a little rough.
What is Dragon's Blood?
Dragon's Blood is known as the Miracle Healing Tree found in Socotra, Yemen. It's sap is harvested from the Croton Lechleri Tree. The Dragon's Blood sap contains a broad range of naturally- occurring compounds, many of which have been well studied.
The sap is rich in protective antioxidant phenols with 2.8 mil ORAC value.
Due to these compounds, the Dragon's blood sap helps to protect the cells of the skin and prevents sun damage.
Additionally, Dragon's Blood contains taspine, a known skin cells healing agent. This is why Dragon's Blood is so widely used on problematic skin conditions all kinds with great success.
When it comes to the Antioxidant Face Wash, it cleanses impurities while enveloping your skin with silky smoothness. Infused with Dragon’s Blood and Geranium essential oil, the Dragon’s Blood Face Wash is high in antioxidants. Feel the moisturising effect even after cleansing, revealing radiant, supple and youthful skin. It is also for all skin type.
Dragon Blood's Antioxidant and Anti-aging Moisturiser is infused with Dragon’s Blood, Chamomile and Geranium essential oil, Dragon’s Blood Moisturizer are high in antioxidants and anti-ageing properties. Its unique properties also improve skin elasticity, reduce wrinkles, leaving your skin silky smooth.
Dragon Blood's Intense Moisturising Antioxidant Cream is infused with a high intensity of Dragon’s Blood, Chamomile & Geranium essential oils, Dragon’s Blood Cream is high in antioxidants and anti-aging properties. Immensely moisturizing, this richly infused antioxidant and anti-aging Dragon’s Blood Cream leaves you with glowing, radiant, supple and youthful skin.
Dragon’s Blood Sleeping Mask provides intense antioxidants and anti-aging properties with optimum effect while you are asleep. The synergistic properties of Dragon’s Blood, Sea Cucumber and Apple Stem Cells help the skin to achieve a flowing and well-rested appearance the next morning.
For me, I personally love the Sleeping Mask as the result in the morning is super amazing. The glowy face is just heartwarming. In order to avoid having the mask stick on your pillow, you will have to apply the mask and give it a whole 20 minutes before you sleep. Then you can sleep as you like.
I also love how soft my face feels after using the face wash. Overall, the Dragon Blood range gives me the brightness and the glowing face I am looking for after 1 week of using it. Will be sharing a more detailed review soon.
I also personally use Calm before The Storm Essential oil which I diffuse in the air diffuser. It calms me down and makes me feel better.
